“WE CAN MAKE IT”, an “time capsule” about peace

1997 Code Red album "Scarlet". “We can make it if we try, love like our’s can’t be denied...” That’s a fragment of the lyrics to the song “We Can Make It” from Cod Red which is a special single for the Asian continent, which is found on the Scarlet album. This year, this song turns 25. I first listened to this song in September 2022, when I read the biography of the late Aldarisma, one of the female singrs lined up by a boyband that mysteriously broke up in 2001 to collaborate on this song. I haven’t listened to this song in a long time (The first song I heard was from a VCD, but unfortunately the cassette got flooded. Hear this song again during a nostalgic music program one night in 2015).   Previously, there were 2 versions of the video clip in this song, one of which was filmed in a residential park (or maybe at the night market?), then there were pedicab paddles and a fried rice seller.
